Erin & Ben's September wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado was something truly special to have been a part of. Between the gorgeous mountain home where the couple celebrated with their family and closest friends, and the breath taking mountain views on top of the mountain where the ceremony was held, this wedding was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen!
The couple chose to marry on top of a mountain which Ben found when scouting out locations near their reception location. Getting to the top of the mountain was something I will never gorget!! Piled into a van driven by the Groom's father, we made our way up some pretty treacherous terrain- I really didn't know if we were going to make it! The fear (and TBH slight car sickness) I felt on the drive up was well worth it once we reached the top. The fall colors and vast mountains did not disappoint.
Including the handmade ceremony arch which Ben had crafted himself, there were many sentimental touches added throughout the couples day. Having lost her father before her wedding day, Erin made sure to save a seat for him and honor him in every way she could throughout the night, even wearing eagle wings to symbolize his presence.
To close out the night, Erin and Ben danced beneath the stars on the porch amongst their friends and family. I couldn't be more grateful to have been able to witness this day and for the many more wedding days I will be fortunate enough to witness in the future. I've said it once and I'll say it again- I love my job!
